St. Joseph's School for the Blind

Specializing in the education and social development of children with special needs. The students at Concordia Learning Center at St. Joseph’s School for the Blind qualify by having some degree of visual impairment. Some students who attend eventually gain the skills necessary to participate as visually impaired students in a non special needs school, while other students may stay on at the school until they are 21 years old. Unique because they have varying degrees of visual impairments and create through sensory experiences backed by vivid imaginations that may or may not have ever seen what they are creating.
