Explore Middle School Celebrates Festivus Maximus (2019)
Jersey City, New Jersey, USA – June 8, 2019
Festivus Maximus At Explore Middle School
Where can your kids have a picnic with friends, stack Giant Jenga, and take turns hitting the Dunk Tank, all at family reunion style barbecue?
At Festivus Maximus, Explore Middle School's end of year celebration!
Held on a beautiful Saturday, June 8th, their theme this year was "Family Reunion, Picnic Style" where they invited the public to bring their family, extended family members, and friends to join in the fun. They had food for sale (Chef Mario on the grill), a dunk tank, raffles, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, relay races, giant jenga, giant twister, corn hole, and board games (whew!).
The event was held picnic-style outside in the school's own backyard with the relay race held in the gym. Visitors were also welcome to bring a picnic blanket and their own games, frisbees, footballs, volleyballs, and more. Topping it off, they also booked a live band, Granton Ave, made up of High Tech students.
