LIKE US Movie Meetup (February 2019)
Thank You & Update Meetup!
We would like to invite you to join us for an informatory meeting about the LIKE US Movie project on Wednesday, February 27th at THISLEARNING's studio location in downtown Jersey City. This will also be an opportunity for us to thank parents, students, donors and everyone involved.
We plan to give you an extensive update on how the project is coming up, when filming will end, and how we will promote the movie through the end of next year.
Pizza, salad, and soda will be served.
This event is free to parents and supporters.
RSVP required (via free tickets above) so we know how much pizza to order.
What To Expect
Get ready for a fun and informative session, including:
- An overview of our current production, including showcasing some of our favorite clips from rehearsal,
- Questions and answers by staff, cast, and crew,
- Request for input, as well as volunteers, for our next phases of production.

Project Background
You've seen student films before, but none like this. Starting in the summer and fall of 2018, we've been helping The Ethical Community Charter School (TECCS) – a public K-8 school in Jersey City – make their very own movie created by kids for kids.
Written, produced, and starring TECCS students, with guidance from seasoned professionals like us (pun ;-), LIKE US Movie has developed into more than just a movie – with the students' guidance, it's become a profound anti-bullying message and movement that crosses age and demographic backgrounds.
