We invited families to check out something creative and engaging for your kids to do after school as they joined us in our professional Downtown Jersey City studio to discover what our upcoming Spring TV Classes Afterschool Program is all about.
About Our Afterschool Program
During our TV School youth afterschool program, we teach videography – in a fun, accessible way – as students work together on screen and behind-the-scenes to produce real world videos highlighting each other and their interests. Kids have a blast producing, recording, and starring in their own television-style video segments to be shared on THISLEARNING and with our community. We are offering small class sizes from April to June for kids in 1st - 4th, 5th - 8th, and 9th - 12th grades. About Our Open House
During the Open House, had a feel for what it's like to be be "on the set" and "behind the scenes" – we have a blast taking a variety of single and group photos as visitors take turns on set to be featured on THISLEARNING.
Our Open House included:
- Meet our staff
- Overview presentation of our TV Classes Afterschool Program
- Previews of previous student video creations
- Free practice photo session – on-set, behind the scenes, and digital headshot
Everyone who participated could receive a free digital headshot as a "Thank You" from us (schedule permitting, first come / first serve) – no experience necessary!
